I’m Jo Rozak, founder of Strut Productions and a dance teacher with a deep passion for creating spaces where everyone feels free to express themselves through movement. I truly believe dance is a powerful tool for joy, connection, and self discovery. It helps us tune into our bodies, build confidence, and reconnect with our inner selves.

Whether you’ve danced before or you’re stepping into a studio for the very first time, my goal is to make you feel safe, supported, and celebrated. My classes are about more than just movement, they’re about feeling good in your body, gaining confidence, and having fun in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

My Story

Dance has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began dancing at just two years old and stepped onto the stage for the first time at three. Even so, I often felt like I never quite fitted in at traditional dance schools, which means I truly understand how nerve-wracking it can feel to walk into a dance studio for the first time.

Because of that, creating a welcoming, supportive, and judgement free space for my dancers is at the heart of everything I do.

My dedication to dance led me to a full scholarship at Masters Performing Arts College, and after graduating, my career took me on an incredible journey. I performed on cruise ships, danced at the High School Musical premiere, appeared on ITV shows, held dance captain roles at holiday parks, and performed at Strictly Come Dancing charity events.

Despite these achievements, I eventually fell out of love with the industry. I was often made to feel like my look was never “quite right,” and I stepped away from dancing and performing for nearly ten years.

In 2020, after moving to Cornwall, everything changed. I attended a beautiful dance class, felt the spark return, and soon after, an unexpected opportunity to teach opened up. Today, I run a variety of dance classes filled with incredible women, create shows for dance and burlesque, and find myself surrounded by the most powerful, uplifting sisterhood.

I’m so grateful to be back doing what I love, and I can’t wait to continue this journeyand hopefully dance with you soon.
